Nestled at the top of greater Capitol Hill, there’s a unique neighborhood within a neighborhood: 15th Avenue. There are many interesting businesses that enjoy the quieter heights of the 15th Avenue; and of these businesses, I would like to introduce to you Liberty, a comfy neighborhood bar that has a great menu of artisan cocktails and tasty and artful sushi.

Liberty is all about the Cocktails
Liberty is a sweet bar at the top of Capitol Hill whose signature is not the comfy couches or fresh sushi made until 2 AM, but the old-fashioned, fresh cocktails they serve up everyday. I was trained in the art of bartending in a foreign country where sweet-and-sour mix and Triple Sec did not exist; we used real limes and fruits juices, staying away from syrupy, chemical mixers that are uberpresent in American bars. Guess what? Cocktails taste much better when made with fresh juices! Liberty knows this and does not disappoint; if you are not a liquor drinker then try their wine list (which improves on a weekly basis) or their selection of local beers and handcrafted ales. You've got the liberty to choose, and at Liberty you can't go wrong.
