You know that Dimitriou's Jazz Alley is the best place in Seattle for an upscale evening of delicious delights and ears full of America's great art, but did you know that the club also works closely with the Pacific Jazz Institute to share the magic of jazz with disadvantaged youth? "Meet the Masters" is one program which introduces local kids to jazz; for free they spend a day not only learning from musical mentors the innate freedom in the sounds of the music, but also the historical and cultural significance of jazz in America, from its inception to its modern day adaptations. More music for the children! Dimitriou's Jazz Alley also offers ticket discounts for seniors and students; get out there and enjoy the easy jazz.
