"Under the Space Needle" is where you'll find me-a little ol' place in Seattle, full of punks, hot bartenders, and Rock-N-Roll. Full bar ($1 PBR's Monday nights)- live music every night (kinda), out door patio with a basketball hoop, pool table, spike the clown, did I mention hot and friendly bartenders? We host touring bands as well as a slew of NW locals-mostly punk, hardcore, garage, rock, indie..etc.
We're proud sponsors of THE THROTTLE ROCKETS, the most kick ass roller derby team in the RAT CITY ROLLER GIRL league!

Fun Times
The Funhouse is soooo Seattle. Right under the Space Needle, this gritty little bar serves cheap beer in plastic cups and hosts all kinds of rockin' punk and garage bands as well as up-and-comers; there is no shortage of either in our city. There are absolutely no pretenses here and no posing, just Seattleites out to have a good time. The patio is my favorite part of the bar, not because I'm a smoker but because it is a chill covered area with picnic tables, quite a nice atmosphere for a punk club. The booths inside are perfect for cramming all of your friends into and arguing about who will buy the next round of Miller Lite.
The Funhouse is also one of the few bars in Seattle open until 2 AM every single day, it is a small venue but this adds to the feeling of intimacy between the rauckus crowd and the musicians jamming and sweating and spitting (just plan on it at a punk show). There is no food served (which is probably a good thing), and the bartenders are about as far from the bubbly Bennigan's variety that you can get (and that is definitely a good thing). The bar is worn well and well loved by its die-hard fans and the artwork is not total crap (though if you have a fear of clowns, you might want to skip the Funhouse).
If you are looking for someplace to see and be seen, impress your high-heeled girlfriend and pose on a barstool, then please, please, do not go to the Funhouse. But if you want to drink a few with your friends, hang out and hear some local talent rock it up, then head to the Funhouse and don't look back. The clown is waiting.
