Chop Suey on Capitol Hill is one of the most eclectic venues in Seattle and hosts a riot of regular dance nights with national and local hip-hop, electronic, rock, punk, indie, and pop artists! Small and intimate, Chop Suey gives the city kids a place to come and let it all loose, dance feverishly, and forget the world outside the Suey. If you don't leave sweaty, you're doing something wrong.

Triumph
Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive to Death rules everything you know and everything you don't know, and frontman Spencer Moody—formerly of The Murder City Devils—is the nicest man you could ever want to be rocked-out by. Triumph is how he's doing that these days. Get there.

Chop it up Properly
Chop Suey on Capitol Hill is a staple of Seattle nightlife, like PBR, a warm jacket, and smoking under bridges. This venue constantly throws up one of the best mix of Seattle music from punk to indie rock to electronica to hip-hop. Everyone has gotten sweaty at Chop Suey for some show or another or at least everyone should. The drinks are nothing to rave about and the bathrooms are gross, but the loud sound system and energetic crowd that always shows up more than makes up for it. Chop Suey is small enough to create a more intimate experience between the performers and the audience, and you can feel it when people start bouncing and moving and choppin' it up, properly.
