For over 20 years The Actors Center in Philadelphia has been one of the most respected and successful resources for both novice and veteran actors in the North East. We teach acting for TV, film, and stage, and conduct classes on voice-over techniques, on-camera commercial acting, and movement and dance. We offer classes for young people, teens, and adults. We also offer instruction on the acting business, including the ins and outs of auditioning. Many of the talented people connected with The Actors Center have been in commercial and print advertisements for such nationally known products and companies as Burger King, Chuckie Cheese, Lipitor, Lotramin, Prego, Xerox, and many more.

People who have studied at The Actors Center have also appeared in such hit movies as A Christmas Story, Austin Powers, Beloved, The Brady Bunch, Eight Days a Week, Girl Interrupted, Philadelphia, The Sixth Sense, Sleepers, and Unbreakable, and in television shows such as ER, Beverly Hills 90210, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Cosby Show, Ellen, Friends, and Philly.
