Egan's Jam House: A Jazz Education

I like my jazz clubs to be small and dark and just like Egan's Ballard Jam House. The intimate venue breeds an aura of togetherness and mutual exploration, which is the goal of the owner Suzanne Weghorst. She has created a place where jazz lovers of all ages and inclinations can come together to learn and teach and learn some more. A night at Egan's Jam House is an educational experience, a leap down learning lane- which, with jazz, could end up anywhere, or everywhere, but definitely not nowhere. Pass me my flute; I think it's time to explore the boundaries of art.
