On the one hand, I can sympathize with the reservation many have about zoos in general: that humans placing other species in captivity for entertainment purposes is slightly inconsiderate of said species. On the other hand, it is seriously amazing and cool to be able to watch mystical creatures like lemurs and lions from a safe distance of thirty feet.
This particular zoo offers lovely customized landscapes for its critters to roam/fly/climb around in, which also creates a pleasing backdrop for visiting observers. The grounds are fairly extensive, so one of the map flyers may help plan a route for viewing your favorite animals.
