Magical and/or Intellectually Stimulating
Speaking for myself, the kind of experience I have at the MOMA depends a good deal on what the current rotating exhibit is. I have had some profound visits when there were artists whose work I felt a visceral connection to, for whatever reason. On the other hand, there is always something that makes the trip feel definitively worthwhile, even if it is more on the educational or even academic end of the spectrum, as opposed to being more personally moving.
