The Historic Moore Theatre is the oldest theatre in Seattle, built in 1907 and witness to decades of performances from singers, dancers, and musicians. Originally a famed stop on the vaudeville circuit, The Moore survived the Great Depression and both World Wars by adapting itself to the entertainment of the times, be it boxing or Broadway. Just two blocks from celebrated Pike Place Market, the venue now provides Seattle with a wide variety of musical performances, most notably serving as the setting for Pearl Jam's Even Flow video during the heyday of grunge. Iconic and beautiful, seeing a show at The Moore Theatre is a quintessential Seattle experience.

HELLO, Pearl Jam's Even Flow video was filmed here, what else do you need to know? Okay, here goes: The Moore Theatre was built in 1907 by the rich and extravagant Mr. Moore (duh), making it the oldest theater in Seattle. Like most performance halls, it's simple white ceramic tile and terracotta exterior belies the opulence you find once inside the doors. After many renovations including adding larger seats for larger 21st century butts, The Moore now hosts local events like beauty pageants, musical performances, and comedy shows. You need to go to The Moore and experience this fantastic piece of Seattle history. The Moore: Approved by Eddie Vedder.
