Let us break the bread...err...the glasses
I have spent many nights dancing for hours and having a hella good time at The Last Supper Club in Pioneer Square; I have also paid the cover, walked in, then turned around and left. LSC epitomizes everything that is good and bad about Pioneer Square. The dance floor is dependably packed, but the mostly inebriated crowd on it will dependably knock your drink out of your hand (three times in one night is my record). The raised stage is a little off-setting for dancers like myself who like to be on the same plane as the artists I am jamming to, but it does give the huge crowd of onlookers and booty checkers on the back of the dance floor an unobstructed view of the performers. Even better for rubbernecking is the upstairs balcony area, but it always seems a little too sedate compared with the mad meat market going on below. The weekend crowd in true Pioneer Square fashion is not there for the music but for each other, and the ratio of hotties in LSC is definitely above the norm no matter what room of the club you are in. There are also lots of nooks to sneak off into with your honey, a sweet visual system, and bartenders that are busy busy busy but still nice. People seem to either love or hate The Last Supper Club, but the dance hall remains a must-stop destination for any hoppers out on the Friday night Pioneer Square tour. Just finish your drink before you hit the dance floor.
