All venues are not created equal. The Fox is one bitchin example of this fact, because despite it's size and location the Fox is one hell of a place to check out music.
Located on the Hill in Boulder, the Fox is an intimate venue that is somehow polarized to draw in incredible bands from every corner of the United States and beyond.
Sitting pretty at a meager 700 occupancy the Fox guarantees that every show is a personal experience, even for that drunk dude in the back.
Amazing almost every time.

Diamond In The Rough
Boulder, being the tragically un-hip place that it is, does not have much street cred in regards to it's music scene. This being said it would be easy to overlook the treasure of a venue found on Boulder's (in)famous Hill.
The Fox is a small, intimate venue that sees a staggering number of famous bands pass through it's doors. Hieroglyphics, The Mars Volta, The Wailers, Fish and other well known groups have all graced the stage. Tickets are usually dirt cheap and the sound with rock your socks off.
Boulder doesn't suck as much as you think.
