I walked in to Babalu, I walked out of Babalu

So yeah it's a bit judgmental but any human who tries to say that appearance doesn't matter is either lying or stupid. We all judge by first impressions, by that intangible 'feel' that you can't really describe but that makes you turn on your heels and leave. Babalu is just not my kind of place, however right down the way the SeaMonster is about 5 billion times more interesting with none of the pretense of Babalu, a pioneer square bar in the wrong neighborhood with the wrong crowd.
