Pike Place Market is Seattle
Please don't call it Pike's Market, or Pike's Fish Market, or whatever other combination tourists invent for the Seattle icon, Pike Place Market. Sadly I avoid this place in the summer because of the massive crowds, but I stopped by the other morning on a random walk and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Though the flowers aren't as spectacular in the winter months, the market itself is ten times as nice. The veggies are out, the trinket sellers, the tee shirt shops which SOMEHOW are still selling "Sleepless in Seattle" shirts, and the restaurants acutally have space for me to sit and have a Mac N Jack's and a plate of deep fried salmon and chips. I am in love all over again with Pike Place Market.
