UW Huskies Football Practice Schedule Released, Raise the Woof! Season Kickoff Celebration Information

One of the first changes that new football Coach Steve Sarkisian made was open the UW’s practices to the public— a welcomed change following Tyrone Willingham’s secretive, losing time as coach. Coach Sark like’s the way open practices challenge his players to perform everyday in a competitive atmosphere, as well as the favorable relationship it creates with vital UW donors. Admission to practices is free, but parking near Husky Stadium in the E-1 lot off of Montlake Blvd costs $7.00. On the weekends you should be able to find free parking on upper UW campus (after 12 p.m. on Sat. and all-day Sunday). Fans attending practices should enter the stadium via the northeast corner (field level), near Husky Softball Stadium. Remember, no cameras and cell phone may be used and fans aren’t supposed to report too much information and refrain from mentioning injuries on the web.
