Taylor Swift on Forbes’ Powerful Celebrity List

20-year-old Taylor Swift is the highest ranking country music artist on Forbes‘ annual list of the 100 most powerful celebrities, coming in at number 12. The magazine determines the list based on income from June 1, 2009 to June 1, 2010, as well as an individual’s presence in the media and social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

Swift, who ranked at number 69 last year, is the youngest celebrity in the top 12, and is joined by huge names in the entertainment industry such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Oprah Winfrey.

Other country artists on the list include Kenny Chesney at 54, Rascall Flatts at 62, Toby Keith at 67, and Keith Urban at 76.
