Santa Claus in Brooklyn, Tonight Free – Philosophical Proof Santa Claus Exists

santaclausSanta Claus was named in New York and it will be in New York – Brooklyn, to be precise — that his dignity will be restored, if Jamie Hook has his way. As part of a lecture series entitled Open City Dialogue,
tonight at The Candy Store in Williamsburg, Hook, who describes himself as a “socially omnivorous urban dandy who makes his home in Greenpoint” – the founding director of the Northwest Film Forum in Seattle and the future director of The Cassandra, an art-house cinema in Williamsburg – will present “Beyond Belief: A Philosophical Proof of Santa Claus,” a lecture by himself and others “to restore the idea of Santa Claus to those who have suffered” disillusion after discovering that “Santa Claus is a fraud.” The event is free.

Hi, since you referred to me by name, I thought I’d comment.

My legal name is Santa Claus, and I’m a full-time volunteer advocate for the 2 million children in the U.S. annually who are abused, neglected, exploited, abandoned, homeless, and institutionalized through no fault of their own.

I’m also a Christian Monk, as St. Nicholas was many centuries ago and believe that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ, not the crass, commercial, secular spectacle it has become in many places, and the the greatest gift one can give is love, not presents.

I hope that your readers will visit TheSantaClausFoundation dot org and learn about the plight of these millions of vulnerable children in dire straits.

    Blessings to all, Santa Claus
