If you're on a budget and like to drink during the week, the 195 Bar is the place for you. They've got amazing deals every night of the week, even some good specials over the weekend. You really can't beat $2 shots or $3 kamikaze's. And this place is off of main streets, so it can't be hard to find or get to. Ya got no excuse here.

I think that picture of Ratt says it all. Ratt was in that awesome 80s hairmetalband category, the one I missed during my childhood years. But everybody knows Ratt. Great name, killer metal, and these guys have not given up! They're still touring, which is nuts, and has to be fun for those who saw them way back when.

Tomasina's music is very hard to describe. It's in the experimental genre at best, with tons of different influences. And I gotta give her props for doing what she loves without needing anybody's help...you go girl! She really does have a great voice, worth giving a listen.

If you don't already love Reel Big Fish, there's something wrong with you. This band is not only funny but they're amazing live and true performers. RBF is the band that gets most people into ska. You will definitely get your money's worth seeing Reel Big Fish in concert. Their songs are catchy and joyous and you'll be sucked in before you know it.
The Aggrolites
Musician: Reggae, Soul

Oh Hellcat Records. Reminds me of my Rancid obsessed days. Anyway, the Aggrolites don't sound like Rancid and are in fact a lovely old school sounding reggae band. Even though some of these guys used to be in a ska band, they pretty much stick to reggae. And it sounds all good to me.
