"Big" trouble with "Sex" Movie

Carrie Bradshaw how could you. After six seasons of emphasizing the importance of single and fabulous, this movie stood against everything our hero ever epitomized. Dried up and desperate she settled for “less than butterflies,” by taking a justice of the peace ceremony in opposition of the fairy tale wedding she wanted and deserved.

Despite the elegance and excellence of the scene featuring the shameless product placement of wedding gowns ,featuring every trick a fashion whore could ever desire, from Vera Wang to Vivenne Westwood. Big stood her up at the alter. Not only did her and her four friends bend over and take it from Christopher Noth like he was a single bachelor on Wall street, but they wasted precious movie time. Instead, they could have been having illicit Sex and The City style sex instead of nursing a “broken-hearted” Carrie we never knew would go back for more "Big" abuse in the end.

Unfortunately, I am a die-hard. I love “the girls,” but hated the way the movie went. The fab four should have come back with vengeance. But the ladies seemed to have lost the fight for love after forty. Miranda, Char and Sam all defeated along with Carrie, who chose to take back the man who teased and tormented her throughout the entire duration of the series.

The girl’s were great because they once defined the phrase "single and fabulous" for sexy women everywhere, city or not, but the entire idea of the movie seemed to be a “Big” mistake.
