Bret Michaels is Beautiful!
Tickets are only $30-$55? Wow! I would pay twice that- or triple that if he would give me some makeup and hair tips. The man is gorgeous!

Sub Pop Record's 20th Bday Party, or: SP20
SP20 has a stellar lineup for a killer label in a music-loving city. Thank you, Sub Pop.

He's THERE! INSIDE YOUR MIND!
Yes, the Phantom of the Opera has been overdone, overplayed, over-talked about, and over-sung- but it is a fantastic musical! The movie was great too! It will be interesting to see what the Paramount throws out for this one.

Love the Name: Voodoo Organist
But punk, gospel, and rockabilly? Why do they have to throw the good name of the Lord in there with spit-loving punk rock and dance-fever rockabilly? I think I will be more interested in the crowd that shows up than the band.

The Boogielistics Will Make You Boogie
Whether they are playing at Lo-Fi, or the soon-to-be defunct Sea Monster, or the Triple Door Musiquarium, they always get the crowd dancing, even the people who are usually too cool.

free.BASS at Trinity
The lineups seem to be getting better and better every week! For free! Thursday nights are going off with stiff competition between LSC, Contour, and Trinity, and each week one is a bit better than the others. Come and judge for yourself!

Weird Name: Big Sur
Why would a band from the Seattle/Bellingham area name itself Big Sur? Just wondering.

To Live Like Louie Dog's the Only Way to Stay Sane
Ah, I strive to be more like a dog every day; like Michel de Montaigne said, "to break the bone of life and suck the marrow out" (of life, that is, i.e.: GET DOWN). And my dog's name is Louis.

Flammable at Rebar
Flammable at Rebar is the only place to go if you want to dance on Sunday night- though dubstep at the Baltic is an option if you are in the right, hazy, foggy, mood.

OOH, Seattle and Black Ties!
This is one event where your tevas, wool socks and REI gear won't go, despite the lingering crap weather Seattle is experiencing. However something (the price tag) tells me that most of the attendees won't be taking the bus or even parking for themselves. Support the local art scene!

...Never Stays in Vegas, Come On Now!
I saw the preview to this movie which really did look funny, a bit slapstick, a bit more physical comedy...though we do like to see two lovers hating each other, for some reason!
