About This Movie
A group of self-absorbed actors sets out to make the most expensive war film. After ballooning costs force the studio to cancel the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast into the jungles of Southeast Asia, where they encounter real bad guys.

OK, Tom, you redeemed yourself...a little.
I must say this movie was quite a laugh,
and whomever did the casting deserves and Oscar and a half.
It definitely lived up to my expectations,
and I recommend it if you're looking for fun.
Ben Stiller is a genius.

Tropic Thunder
Ben Stiller is a master of the dumb guy coming of age comedy and Tropic Thunder is possibly his best to date. Add to the Stiller genius an all-star cast like Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black, Nick Nolte,and Tom Cruise, and you have yourself one stinking hilarious movie. Straight man Jay Baruchel however glues the entire film together. Baruchel plays the only level headed actor in a film run amuck with egos, method acting, heroine use and booty sweat; and he does it all with perfect timing. Check out Baruchel and the rest of the guys in Tropic Thunder, and enjoy a raunchy good time. And remember never go full retard.
