You Don't Mess With the Zohan

Happy-Madison strikes again

Although I'm slightly embarrassed to admit it, I actually laughed a lot while watching Adam Sandler's latest movie. "Zohan" took crude humor to new levels of wrong and nasty, but mixed it in with something no other movie has done yet - making fun of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict! I thought it was ballsy to turn a major world issue and turn it into a sick comedy. As always, there were a few moments so ridiculous that I was embarrased to have paid, but what do you expect in a Happy-Madison production?

You know, I didn't realize this movie had a premise until I read the "About This Movie" section here. I thought it was just Adam Sandler and Mike Meyers doing wacky accents and even wackier promos on VH1!! What's with the Lindsay Lohan cameo? Who cares! It's Lindsay Lohan! And wild accents. Throw in a former SNL "star" everyone forgot to remember starting like 10 years ago, and you have a comedy hit! (Rob Schneider). I know, the description was obvious, but I'm going with the hit-you-over-the-head with it theme of the movie.

Don't mess with buying a ticket for this movie. Skip it. Don't even wait for the movie to go to video or WILL regret it.**
