Philadelphia Weekly Announces 3rd Annual Taste Of Philly Event

Every year Philadelphia Weekly unveils an annual glossy dining guide which can be a pretty big deal. And ever since 2007 it has hosted a culinary gathering called Taste Of Philly to go along with it. The event was such a huge hit that it has now become one of the best and most anticipated culinary events in Philadelphia.

Last year\’s event took place at the Franklin Institute and sold out to over 1,000 guests! Approximately 50 of the city\’s restaurants provided samples of their signature drinks and dishes to guests during the event. Entertainment was provided by ArcheDream for HumanKind, a non-profit organization that uses performance to empower and inspire the less fortunate communities around the world. Guests were wowed by this amazing group and PW was able to donate over $12,000 to the charity!

This year promises to be even bigger, an will once again donate money to the ArcheDream for Humankind, and will be held at the Crystal Tea Room in the Wanamaker Building on October 21st. Hand carved columns and intricate crystal chandeliers makes the beauty and grandeur of the Crystal Tea Room timeless. So come out and be one of the 1200 people who experience the finest in Philadelphia cuisine. We’re talking a whole lot more than just cheesesteaks!
