Projektfest is an all-ages goth cabaret taking place primarily at Philadelphia’s Trocadero Theatre. Centered around music, the festival includes vendors and carnival acts as well as think dancing, tattoos, sword-swallowing and fans of the vampire.

On Saturday, visitors are invited to Dracula’s Ball at Shampoo, a local club noted for pulling off extreme theme events.

Projektfest musical guests include: Nicki Jaine, The Twilight Garden, DJ Annabel Evil and local favorite Voltaire.

Digital Ferret will also host a free event at 2 p.m. on July 31. Platform One will appear, performing New York’s finest synthpop/steampunk music.

The crowd will likely range from teenage Twilight fanatics to more macabre professionals as well as general steampunk and alternative culture enthusiasts.
