Outdoor Night Market at Asian Garden Mall

Outdoor Night Market at Asian Garden Mall

The West Coast has one of the largest Asian populations in the United States, if not THE largest. L.A. may have Chinatown, but Orange County has Little Saigon. To bring a little more Asian feeling to our Western Shores, the Asian Garden Mall (a.k.a. the Saigon Mall) is hosting night markets.

Almost every Asian country has night markets. It’s a tourist feature, from Taiwan to Vietnam to China. Until September 24th, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, night markets run from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.

While the night markets fall short of their inspiration, taking up only the front parking lot, it’s still a fun outing. It’s also a great place for good eats: an array of food trucks line the edge of the lot at every event.
