More Artistic Gift Ideas For The Holiday

Christmas is getting closer! Here are some more places to pick up wonderful, artistic gifts for your loved ones:

Starting in Downtown, stop by {Far4} at 1020 First Avenue. Here you will find stunning work by artists such as April Brimer, Trevor Jackson and Mike Leavitt. Photographs, sculptures and illustrations that are sure to please.

Also, don’t forget that the Seattle Art Museum has a great gift shop! You can browse small works of art, jewelry and more, and often find a great gift for under $100. Moving over to Pioneer Square, check out MOMO at 600 South Jackson Street. There’s a great variety of art, home decor and clothing here.

Now for more Capitol Hill stops! Pretty Parlor at 119 Summit Ave E has a wonderful selection of handmade jewelry, which makes for colorful, stunning gift items. You can also find the best selection of vintage party dresses in the city here, by the way… Even  Betsy Johnson agrees, as seen in this picture taken in November!

Also on Capitol Hill is Cairo, a fantastic boutique/gallery/music space that focuses on vintage items. Pick out an artsy house item for your friends here, and stick around for some live music. Cairo is at the corner of 507 E Mercer St and Summit Ave E.

Another favorite is VelouriaTheir Capitol Hill location is at 1521 Melrose Ave. There is a new artist every month featured on their beautiful walls, the current artist being Rachel Austin from Portland, OR.

Hope you enjoy shopping for Art, and have fun!
