Malice & Mario Sweet: New Album with Indiegogo Campaign

This is an exciting year for Seattle’s married musical duo Malice & Mario Sweet. They will be releasing their second studio CD titled Enjoy: Like: Love.  The thought process behind their unique title:  “We are calling it Enjoy:Like:Love because we believe you are going to Enjoy this album for it’s positivity and soulful melodies. We also believe you are going to Like this album, possibly enough to share it with a loved one or a friend. But we strive to make you Love this album because it was made out of love for the lover in all of us.”

Their first project Happy 2 Year reached #3 on KEXP 90.3\’s Blues charts, landed on Kevin Nottingham\’s Top 10 Soulful EP\’s of 2011, and received love and recognition from media outlets local and global, including The Seattle Times, BBC Radio 1, and The Stranger. They were also recently featured on Seattle radio stations KEXP and KUBE 93.

Their sound ranges from hip-hop to R&B to Soul as they have collaborated with Blue Scholars vocalist Prometheus Brown and soulful singer/songwriter Choklate, but most people who take a listen would say: “it’s just good positive music.” Their music speaks about life, love, and each other.

The Sweets have given this new project to us with a series of incentives on their Indigogo Campaign.  These perks range in value from a personalized thank-you card, to a private showcase.  $25 gets you an autographed physical copy of the album and a thank-you card.

Donating not your style?  Malice & Mario Sweet have repeatedly expressed their gratitude to all their listeners who enjoy their music enough to share on social networks or simply telling a friend.

With 9 days left to go in their campaign, time is running out to get your hands on this project. Give a listen to my personal favorite of theirs, “Mario” and Enjoy: Like: Love…
