Philly’s Best Happy Hour: Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia Fundraiser, June 17

Want to enjoy the city’s most competitive happy hour prices while supporting a good cause? Check out the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia Fundraiser on June 17 at The American Pub at Centre Square.

According to the organization’s development and marketing assistant Clare Herlihy, the group’s previous happy hour attracted about a hundred attendees hoping to have some fun while raising some money to improve the lives of Philadelphia’s youth.

Herlihy describes the event as “a fun night of networking, socializing and learning about the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia,” a group that has 12 Philadelphia locations staffed by caring professionals to provide at-risk youth with educational and recreational opportunities. The clubs specifically encourage youth to develop and explore their interests in life skills, sports, the arts and practical skills such as career development.

At this event, Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia will raffle tickets to the AT&T National Golf Tournament, provided to the organization as a donation.

In addition to the community benefits of this fundraiser, attendees will receive happy hour specials and ample opportunity to network with others who care about the community. Consider this event a must if you’re looking to move in or move up at a nonprofit in Philly.
