September is National Yoga Month. This means you can get one week of free yoga all month long (well, actually two months until the end of October) at participating studios, if you are a new student. In Atlanta, not too many studios are participating in 2010, however, if you choose to venture a little outside the city, you’ll find more options to experience this form of exercise.
More than 1,200 studios are participating nationwide this year. Several cities are having special events in honor of National Yoga Month, including: Los Angeles and Philadelphia on Sept. 25 and Kansas City on Sept. 11.
How to Sign Up for Free Yoga in September
All you need to do is go to YogaMonth.org and print out your free yoga card, and then go to a participating studio and redeem it. Cards are good until Oct. 31.
