Free Pancakes at IHOP

In the six years that IHOP has been running its free pancake promotion for National Pancake Day, the iconic breakfast chain has raised over $10 million for various charities. This year it’s asking patrons to donate what they can to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. As a thank you, you get a short stack of buttermilk pancakes, on the house. Of course, you don’t have to donate to get your pancakes, but come on… it’s for the kids. Even a dollar helps.

The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals help support 170 nonprofit hospitals for kids.

“Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $4 billion since 1983, most of it $1 at a time. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of our mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.”

Head over to the IHOP website to find a location near you. They’re everywhere, it shouldn’t be too hard. More than 1,500 locations will be participating in the promotion that runs until 10 p.m. tonight.
