Free Gift Cards Offered By Borders to Support Education Dec 4-5

Free gift cards will be given to support public schools for all in-store purchases at Borders stores across the country on December 4 and 5, 2010.

Waiting for SupermanThis promotion got its inspiration from a much discussed documentary called “Waiting for Superman,” which provides a harsh portrait of America\’s public schools.

Any Borders customer who makes an in-store purchase will receive a $15 gift card to donate to a public school of their choice through DonorsChoose.org, an Internet-based charity.

Also, anyone purchasing the book “Waiting for ‘Superman\': How We Can Save America\’s Failing Public Schools” will receive a second $15 card.

So if you still need some gifts for this holiday season, why not buy something from Borders and support education as well. You could even stop in for a quick latte and receive the gift card.
