Wawa is a local convenience store chain loved by many in the Philadelphia area. They’re most famously known for their hoagies and the current “Hoagiefest,” which provides discounts on hoagies and other necessities. You can grab some of these delicious foods for free at the Wawa Hoagie Day.

Wawa Hoagie Day happens on Wednesday, June 30, starting at 7:00 p.m. After you’ve filled up on some food, hang around to watch “Rocky” at 9:00 p.m. All of this is free of charge!

This is an obvious attempt to convince everyone that Wawa is as Philadelphian as American Independence and “Rocky” – like we actually even needed free food to convince us. Enjoy some hoagies and watch Philly’s favorite fictional hero. More info available on the Web.

By the way, the new Wawa blended drinks are fabulous. Have you tried the chocolate banana smoothie yet? Once you do, you’ll probably become addicted in the name of consuming chocolate-flavored potassium.

Wawa’s also sponsoring Philadelphia’s official July 4 fireworks display this year. Click here for more info.
