Free Denver Summer Jazz Concerts

Free Denver Summer Jazz Concerts

City Park Jazz, Inc, a community supported charity, puts on 10 free summer jazz concerts every year in Denver’s City Park. The concerts carry on a tradition of free musical performances in City Park that stretches back 125 years.

Acts will perform at the Bandstand next to Ferril Lake from 6pm-8pm every Sunday through August 9th. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the event– nearly 5,000 people attend on any given Sunday– it’s recommended you come early. Feel free to bring a picnic and folding chairs. Food will be available on-site, though.

Also, all roads into the park are closed at that time so to secure a good spot both for your car and your family, you should leave your vehicle at 17th and Steele and bring one of those coolers with wheels. And don’t forget an umbrella! City Park Jazz is a hardy endeavor and the show will go on, rain or shine.
