Extreme Jacko Tributes: The Michael Jackson King of Pop Pubcrawl

20090701_koppubcrawl_250x375When we lost our beloved MJ, I think the world collectively shed a tear. All radio stations and DJs began to blast all of his music, and the tributes began. From the 48 Hours special to the hordes of fans laying flowers and lighting candles, everyone has been remembering the King of Pop. Now, the Village Pourhouse and several other fine drinking establishments want to ensure an active memorial for Michael, in the form of the King of Pop Pubcrawl. On Saturday, July 11th, at noon, gather up your gear and head down to the East Village for this historic event.

Complete with complimentary white glove and a full Thriller unison dance at the last bar, the King of Pop Pubcrawl promises to be quite the experience. Each participating bar will showcase Michael’s albums, in order of course, and drink specials will abound. The full schedule and all details are listed below as well as here, and tickets are $20. Get your Michael on, and don’t stop til you get enough, or til you can’t stand any more!

Full bar schedule:

Village Pourhouse 11:00am-1:00pm (pick up your white glove here!)
Bar None 1:00pm-2:00pm
Finnerty’s 2:00pm-3:00pm
King’s Head 3:00pm-4:00pm
