 illage Center will welcome the holidays with a Lake Anne tradition of a pet
 ting zoo\, entertainment\, ornament-making for children\, Faux Bear\, holid
 ay market vendors\, and the arrival of Santa by barge on Saturday\, Decembe
 r 5 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Santa sails in at 12:00 PM to visit with c
 hildren on the plaza. The event is free\, presented by Lake Anne Merchants 
 Association. In the evening\, Light Up Lake Anne presents the plaza tree li
 ghting and caroling at 6:00 PM. See the Lake Anne balconies\, decks and boa
 ts-afloat aglow with lights. Presented by Friends of Lake Anne (FOLA). For

 illage Center\, dedicated in December 1965\, is the historic heart and soul
