DESCRIPTION:The Brooklyn-based group TV on the Radio mixes post-punk\, elec
 tronic and other atmoshperic elements in such a creative way that it only m
 akes sense that its core duo\, vocalist Tunde Adebimpe and multi-instrument
 alist/producer David Andrew Sitek\, are both visual artists as well as musi
 cians. Their first full-length release\, 'Desperate Youth\, Blood Thirsty B
 abes' arrived in spring 2004. Later that year they won the Shortlist Music 
 Prize. Fuel by the positive press and reviews the band has kept busy with t
 ouring and side projects. 2006's 'Return to Cookie Mountain' features David
  Bowie on some tracks as a backing vocalist. The band's latest is 'Dear Sci
 ence.'
