Trash or Treasure Benefit Hosted by the Pheasant Lane Mall

On Saturday, November 7, 2009, the Pheasant Lane Mall will partner with the New Hampshire Antique Co-op and James D. Julia Auctioneers, Inc to host New Hampshire Appraisal Day from 11:00 a.m.-3 p.m. on the upper level, across from Macy’s. The charity event is being held to pay tribute to Veterans Day and to raise donations for the Easter Seals New Hampshire Marine Cpl. Michael W. Ouellette Fund. The cost to have one item appraised is $7.00; two items will be $10.00.

The fund was established by Donna Ouellette in memory of her son decorated Marine Cpl. Michael Ouellette, a graduate of Manchester’s Memorial High School, who was killed in combat in Afghanistan in March 2009. The fund benefits veterans, services members and military families receiving assistance through Easter Seals New Hampshire Veterans Service Program. In addition to counseling, Easter Seals provides financial assistance for critical, basic needs such as food, housing, heating fuel, transportation, job training and more. Appraisals are being generously sponsored by New Hampshire Antique Co-op, a family run business now in its 26th year.
