The School of the Art Institute of Chicago Presents a Free Public Lecture by Jaume Plensa, Creator of Crown Fountain in Millennium Park

William and Stephanie Sick Distinguished Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Jaume Plensa presents a public lecture entitled "In the Public Space," Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Art Institute of Chicago's Rubloff Auditorium (230 South Columbus Drive entrance). Plensa will discuss the creation of the “Crown Fountain” — one of his most important and ambitious pieces of public art, made possible in part by a collaborative effort with SAIC faculty and students — as well as other internationally renowned projects installed around the globe.
