GRUMPY OLD MEN HOLD BENEFIT CONCERT

Mechanicsburg, PA – Central PA band, Grumpy Old Men, www.grumpyoldmenband.com/ , join forces with the Trindle Spring Lutheran Church Youth on Sunday, November 8 for their second annual benefit concert. This event will be held at the Trindle Spring Lutheran Church located at 14 State Road, Mechanicsburg, PA from 6:30 to 9:30 PM; doors open at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $5 per person and will be available at the door or may be purchased in advance from TSLC Youth and Advisors; kids 12 and under are free! Refreshments will be available.

“Not only will this be a fun event for the whole family, it will be a great way to help out a great cause” said Dave Lefin, TSLC Youth Advisor and Concert Coordinator. All net proceeds collected will be used to defray the cost of sending TSLC Youth to the National Youth Gathering in July 2012.

Grumpy Old Men, featuring lead vocalist/keyboardist Robert Scott, guitarist/vocalist Greg Platzer, guitarist/vocalist Steve Clay, bassist Vinny Hunter and drummer Ray Wright, “is a band that has fun, born from the desire to play music for the purpose of the sheer enjoyment to those playing as well as those listening. Playing music from such bands as The Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Steely Dan, James Gang, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, The Eagles....not to mention a handful of originals that are slowly growing, and that will be featured on an upcoming CD…Grumpy Old Men can entertain an audience as young as 6 and as old as 60 with equal ridicule. Lots of talent, a big helping of humor and a crew that gets it done right.”
