Magical friends - Lamb Chop & E.T.

10:30 am: Lamb Chop is the sock-puppet sheep created by comedian and ventriloquist Shari Lewis. Before children’s television turned to mostly animation, Shari Lewis had her own musical-comedy television show. A twelve-time Emmy Award winner, Lewis wrote more than 30 children’s books. In conjunction with Classic Media Inc, we’ll present one of the original Shari Lewis Show episodes along with a Lamb Chop’s Play-Along episode.

Activity: Following Lamb Chop, we’ll see a puppeteer in action and learn about the magic of ventriloquism.

1:30 pm: E.T. (2002 Re-Issue), 1982, 115-min, directed by Steven Spielberg (Rated PG) A true classic gem and a remarkable portrait of childhood, E.T. is a sci-fi adventure that your kids will revel in and you will love reliving. After Elliott (Henry Thomas), a shy and lonely boy, finds a squashy and adorable alien invader in his backyard, they begin to communicate telepathically. Your children will be thankful you introduced them to this 80s classic coming-of-age story about courage and friendship.
