COMMUNITY ALERT NOTIFICATIONLOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMYBeginning Wednesday October 7th there will be an 11 week Community Police Academy. The class will meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 PM at the Olympic Community Police Station, located at 1130 South Vermont.This course gives you an overview of the LAPD with field trips to facilities. Subject matter experts in numerous fields of law enforcement will be your instructors.If you are interested in attending you must meet the following criteria:- 18 years or older-live or work in West LA-no felony convictions-no warrants-no pending criminal cases-approved by the Commanding OfficerPlease contact Sgt.
