From baby bottles to kitchen cookware, Americans are more concerned than ever about chemicals and their effect on our health. The stories are unnerving: Our children play with toys that leach unsafe chemicals, our makeup and sunscreen carry toxins, and nearly every child born today carries hazardous chemicals in his or her blood. Even the air we breathe can alter our genes. Maybe weve had enough, on every level.
