Scamps Comedy presents: New Year's Eve with Joe Wong, Jon Lincoln & Peter Bowers

A lot has happened to Joe Wong since he performed to a sold-out crowd at the Amazing Things Arts Center last New Year's Eve. In fact, some of it might have happened because of that show. David Letterman's talent scouts had been keeping an eye on the young comedian from China, and after headliner Brian Kiley (a Late Night with Conan O'Brien staff writer) watched Wong wow the crowd, Conan's people wanted to see more of Wong as well. Whether the interest from the rival played a role in the decision or not, Wong made his national TV debut on The Late Show with David Letterman in April 2009, and the ball started rolling. Wong signed with Rory Rosegarten (Ray Romano's manager), appeared on Ellen Degeneres' TBS special (Ellen's Bigger, Longer & Wider Show) in June, and more great opportunities followed. Joe returns to headline with two great, clean, and very funny comedians: Jon Lincoln and British import Peter Bowers.
