DUBWAR
DUB WAR w/ Mary Anne Hobbs & Pinch
This one requires no explanation. Bristol UK's DJ Pinch is responsible for creating some of the deepest, darkest, most innovative bass music ever produced. He has led the Bristol invasion in dubstep through his pioneering Subloaded nights, and releasing seminal music on his own Tectonic Recordings.
Mary Anne Hobbs has worked tirelessly to introduce listeners worldwide to the freshest underground electronic music through her groundbreaking radio show on BBC Radio 1. She was an early supporter of the dubstep sound through her seminal Dubstep Warz special on Radio One in 2006, and has continued to spearhead the UK bass invasion as curator for the Sonar Festival in Barcelona, and through her latest cd compilation, Wild Angels.
This is both of their first times playing Dub War, and promises to be a massive night so get your advance tix now to ensure entry....
Lineup: PINCH (Tectonic Records, Bristol UK) MARY ANNE HOBBS (BBC Radio 1, Planet Mu) + residents Dave Q, Joe Nice, Juakali, Incyde.
