Consume Like the Black Hole of Burgers

On June 24, nearly 50 adventurous Boston-area eaters will have 60 minutes to finish over 4 lbs. of food for the right to place their name on the burger whose very consumption illustrates the most bewildering and often misunderstood celestial phenomenon: the black hole.Participants will do their best black hole impression as they try to consume a 3 lb. cheeseburger loaded with all the fixings (the equivalent of 12 traditionally sized burgers!) and 1 lb. of chili cheese fries (complete with "black hole" olives) in the fastest time under a half an hour. Besides the distinction of having their name on the menu, the winner will receive a family membership to the Museum.After this initial event, the newly named Black Hole Burger (e.g. Kevin's Black Hole Burger) will remain on the menu, and the first 100 people to consume it will receive one free pass to Museum Exhibit Halls.Sign up via e-mail.
