Fiddler on the Roof: National Tour
The Tony Award® winning musical that has captured the hearts of people all over the world with its universal appeal, embarks on a new North American tour. 'Fiddler on the Roof,' written by Joseph Stein, adapted from the stories of Sholom Aleichem, with lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock, is set in the village of Anatevka, Russia, in 1904. The story focuses on a dairyman named Tevye and his five daughters. Featured songs include: 'If I Were a Rich Man,' 'Sunrise, Sunset,' 'Tradition,' 'To Life,' 'Fiddler on the Roof,' 'Far From the Home I Love,' 'Now I Have Everything,' 'Anatevka' and 'Matchmaker, Matchmaker.' Audiences will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Chaim Topol, Tevye from the original motion picture, perform the role that made him famous with his award winning portrayal in 'Fiddler on the Roof.'
