Planning a Start-up in a Downturn

business hand shake

The current economic climate is sure to make countless existing and would-be entrepreneurs nervous about starting a company in the coming months. Contrarily, the number of recent layoffs may inspire you to start your own company. MITEF Venture Lab has put together a special event to address the challenges of planning your business in today’s unique economic climate.

On February 5th, come learn from our expert speakers as they share their knowledge, experience and perspective on this exciting topic, including amongst others:

· Jeff Schrock, investor at Intel Capital, one of the largest venture capital organizations in the industry. Jeff has a broad set of technology deal-making experiences, and has been an entrepreneur, angel investor, corporate director, and a mergers and acquisitions executive.

· Andy Dale, Managing General Partner at Buerk Dale Victor (BDV). For more than 15 years, Andy has been involved in building and growing companies as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist and investment banker.

Don’t miss this informative event! Doors open at 5:30 pm. Soft drinks and light appetizers will be served.
