Through painting, sculpture, and installation, Los Angeles-based artist Chris Lipomi attempts to re-imagine distinct moments in art history. His smart and unexpected conceptual practice blends unique objects with appropriation and found materials to reconsider various eras and styles: from "primitivism" to Jason Rhoades, surrealism to Thomas Kinkade.
