Jars of Clay
One of the more successful contemporary Christian bands, Jars of Clay scored an enormous mainstream hit with its debut single, 'Flood' in 1996. As tastes changed, the group's Christian music identity may have turned some mainstream audiences away, but Jar of Clay is known for its sizable following among Christian youth and has remained one of the highest-profile groups in any gospel-music subgenre.
