Experience Hendrix 2008 Tribute Tour

Celebrating the music and legacy of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix, the Experience Hendrix 2008 Tribute Tour will feature blues giant and five-time Grammy Award winner Buddy Guy and contemporary guitar great Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Special guests will include David Hidalgo and Cesar Rojas of Los Lobos, and Hubert Sumlin, the Mississippi-born guitarist who worked with both Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters. Most remarkably, Mitch Mitchell (drums) and Billy Cox (bass) will be on hand, the same Jimi Hendrix Experience rhythm section that played behind Hendrix at Woodstock, as well as Chris Layton, half of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan's highly regarded rhythm section Double Trouble.
