St. Martin's Day Celebration

Be sure to attend this traditional German event. Children and their families will make traditional paper lanterns while listening to festive German music and learning customary Saint Martin's Day songs. The students of the Twin Cities German Immersion School will reenact the story of Saint Martin. With lanterns in hand, everyone is invited to join Saint Martin on his horse as he leads the group in a parade around Rice Park. After the parade, everyone is welcome to come back into Landmark Center to listen to music, drink complimentary coffee and cocoa and sample authentic German treats from German Specialty Imports.
